What Are Workflows?

Workflows are Relevance AI’s no-code tools for transforming unstructured data into insights. In a few simple steps, you’ll be able to do things like AI tagging, sentiment analysis and category generation.

Why Does It Matter?

Running workflows is a crucial step in analysing unstructured data in Relevance AI, unlocking most of our core features. Our product team has been focused on making them as easy to discover and use as possible.

How Does It Work?

When viewing a dataset in Relevance AI, look for the Workflows section in the left navigation panel.

You’ll be greeted by our Workflows hub, where you can browse through or search for workflows that solve your unstructured data needs.

Running a workflow is easy! Our workflow wizard will guide you through it step by step, so all you have to do follow the setup wizard.

Once you've finished with the setup, click on "Run workflow". This will trigger the workflow and you can see the workflow marked as in progress in the History section. Once finalized we will send you an email notification (unless specified otherwise in the setup by the user).

Note 1: You do not need to keep the page open while the workflow is in progress. You can close the window or explore other functionalities of the platform.

Note 2: You can run multiple workflows in parallel (i.e. no need to wait for one to finalize).

Note 3: Workflow results are saved back to the dataset.

Note 4: Workflow results are independent of each other meaning they do not overwrite each other unless a workflow is run twice with the exact same workflow setup.
